Meet my friends: Mabel, Eloise, June, Imogen, Hazel, Bernice, Pearl, Mae, Dorothy, Ingrid, Ruby, and Betty! This fun series of vintage ladies incorporates 1950s teaching supplies that belonged to my grandmother, fabric from old clothes and quilting projects, wallpaper scraps, postcards, and other colorful treasures. A pop-art-inspired polka-dot pattern adds depth and a cheerful, retro vibe. Saturated flashes of color and sophisticated neutrals give each piece unique energy.

12x12” acrylic and collage (fabric and paper) on wood panel, sealed with satin varnish. Framed in a natural wood frame for final dimensions of 13x13"; hanging hardware is installed on the back.
