dancing on the cobblestones

I’ve been exploring what truly lights me up artistically, and challenging myself to create work that draws my own eye with the same delight as my 2-year-old niece when she approaches a box full of sprinkled doughnuts. “Dancing on the Cobblestones” features primary-toned dance-steps over a textured gray/white background. It is delightfully playful and simple, with rich layers and details visible up-close.

30x40” acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, sealed with satin varnish. Sides are painted and hanging hardware is installed on the back.
